How to build a tower defense game
Enemies walk a path. You place towers. Build3 builds one map you can defend, then publishes a link.
- No subscription
- Credits do not expire
- A link when you publish
12:00What you get
A path and a tower
One map, one tower type, and a wave you can stop. More tower types come after that works.
A path you can see
Enemies enter at one end and leave at the other. The path should be obvious on a phone.
Place a tower
Click or tap an empty spot. Say what the tower costs, even if the currency is just points in the game.
A wave
A handful of enemies, then a pause, then more. Stopping them is the win. Too many getting through is the loss.
Money in the game
Points you earn inside the match are not a real payment. They buy the next tower. Do not add a real checkout unless you ask for one.
Keyboard too
A number key or the arrows should also place or select. Touch is not the only control.
A link
Publish to a build3.site address.
12:00How it works
From a sentence to a link
You describe it, look at the preview, and publish when it is the one you want people to see.
01
Draw the path
Where they enter, where they leave, and where towers can stand.
02
Stop the first wave
If a tower never fires, fix that before you add five tower types.
03
Publish
Share the link when a map can be won and lost.
12:00Prompts
Start from one of these
Change the one that is close, then start building. The button opens a new account. It does not send the prompt for you.

12:00Questions
Before you start
Can I add a second map?
Yes, after the first map can be won. Ask for it in the same project.
How do I pay for the build?
You buy credits and spend them as you build. Nothing renews each month, and unused credits stay on the account. Pack sizes and what a prompt costs are on the pricing page. A small change costs less than starting over.
Can I use my own domain?
The build3.site link is included. Connecting a domain you already own is a separate unlock on that project. The price is on the pricing page. Build3 does not sell domains. You add the records at the registrar, and the free link keeps working too.
