How to build a sports game

One sport, one action, and a score. Build3 builds a match you can play, then publishes a link.

  • No subscription
  • Credits do not expire
  • A link when you publish

12:00What you get

One action that scores

A full simulation is not the first version. A shot, a save, and a score are.

  • The scoring action

Shoot, serve, or swing. Say the keys and the touch control. Both are required.

  • An opponent

A keeper, a return, or one other player run by the computer. You should be able to beat them and also lose.

  • A match that ends

First to three, or a clock. Show the score the whole time.

  • Play again

The end screen starts another match without a reload.

  • Results other people see

A record on this device is the start. A table of results needs the database unlock. The price is on the pricing page.

  • A link to the match

Publish to a build3.site address. The pitch has to fit a phone and a wide screen.

12:00How it works

From a sentence to a link

You describe it, look at the preview, and publish when it is the one you want people to see.

  1. 01

Pick the sport and the action

One verb. Shoot, hit, or throw.

  2. 02

    Finish a match

If you cannot score, fix that before you add teams and seasons.

  3. 03

    Publish

Share the link when a match feels fair.

Change the one that is close, then start building. The button opens a new account. It does not send the prompt for you.

12:00Questions

Before you start

Can two people play on one screen?

Yes. Ask for a second set of keys after the one-player match works.

How do I pay for the build?

You buy credits and spend them as you build. Nothing renews each month, and unused credits stay on the account. Pack sizes and what a prompt costs are on the pricing page. A small change costs less than starting over.

Can I use my own domain?

The build3.site link is included. Connecting a domain you already own is a separate unlock on that project. The price is on the pricing page. Build3 does not sell domains. You add the records at the registrar, and the free link keeps working too.

Describe the sports game.

The sport, the action that scores, and when the match ends.
