How to build a quiz game

Write the questions, the answers, and what the score means. Build3 builds a quiz people can play from a link.

  • No subscription
  • Credits do not expire
  • A link when you publish

12:00What you get

Questions, then a score

A quiz is a list. The page should not get in the way of the next question.

  • One question at a time

The prompt, four choices, then the next one. Say if the right answer is revealed immediately.

  • A score at the end

How many were right, and a line they can read out. A play-again button.

  • Your questions

Put the real questions in the prompt. You can add more later in the same project.

  • Fine on a phone

The choices have to be easy to tap. Check a question at a narrow width.

  • Scores from other players

A score on this device is enough to start. Saving a name and a score for everyone needs the database unlock. The price is on the pricing page.

  • A link to send

Publish to a build3.site address. That is the quiz people open.

12:00How it works

From a sentence to a link

You describe it, look at the preview, and publish when it is the one you want people to see.

  1. 01

    Write ten questions

Each one needs a right answer and three wrong ones.

  2. 02

    Play it through

If a question is ambiguous, change the wording before you publish.

  3. 03

    Publish the link

Send it. Update the live quiz when you add questions.

12:00Questions

Before you start

Can I change a question after it is live?

Yes. Ask for the new wording in the same project, check the preview, then update the published quiz.

How do I pay for the build?

You buy credits and spend them as you build. Nothing renews each month, and unused credits stay on the account. Pack sizes and what a prompt costs are on the pricing page. A small change costs less than starting over.

Can I use my own domain?

The build3.site link is included. Connecting a domain you already own is a separate unlock on that project. The price is on the pricing page. Build3 does not sell domains. You add the records at the registrar, and the free link keeps working too.
