12:00Use cases
A game people play from a link
Say the goal, the controls, and how you win or lose. Build3 builds a version you can play in the preview. When it is ready, publish one link.
A prompt to start from
A one-button game. Tap to fly a bird through gaps. The score is how many gaps you pass. Restart when you hit one.
- No subscription
- Credits do not expire
- A link when you publish
12:00What you get
Playable, not a picture of a game
The test is whether you can play it. The link is what you send.
A sentence is the design
Goal, controls, and the way the round ends. Art, sound, and extra levels can wait until the first version is actually playable.
You play the preview
The game shows up beside the chat. Try the controls before you ask for more. If a jump feels wrong, say so.
Touch and keyboard
Ask for touch on a phone and keys on a computer. Open the preview on both before you call it done.
Score, lives, restart
Say how scoring works and what happens when the player fails. A restart button is worth asking for in the first prompt.
Saved progress, if you want it
A game can be a link and nothing else. Accounts, saved progress, and a leaderboard need the database unlock, which is 100 credits once on that project.
One link to send
Publishing gives you a build3.site address. Send it, and people can play.
12:00How it works
From a sentence to a link
You describe it, look at the preview, and publish when it is the one you want people to see.
01
Say how it plays
What you do, what you avoid, and what the score means. One clear rule is enough to start.
02
Play the first version
If you cannot finish a round, fix that before you ask for levels and music.
03
Send the link
Publish when a round feels fair. Update the live link after later changes, the same way a website updates.
12:00Prompts
Start from one of these
Copy the one that is close, change the names, and send it. The button opens a new account. It does not send the prompt for you.
Arcade
“Tap to jump a danfo bus over potholes. Three lives. The score goes up the longer you last.”
Start buildingPuzzle
“A matching puzzle with fruit. Swap two to make a line of three. Sixty seconds on the clock.”
Start buildingRacing
“A top-down race. Arrow keys on a computer, tilt-style buttons on a phone. Three laps, one opponent.”
Start buildingQuiz
“A ten-question quiz about Lagos. Four answers each. Show the score at the end and a way to play again.”

12:00Questions
Before you start
How do I pay?
You buy credits and spend them as you build. Nothing renews each month, and unused credits stay on the account. A website prompt needs at least 10 credits on the account before it can start. A game prompt needs at least 15. After that, the charge follows the work, so a small change costs less than starting over.
Can I add a leaderboard?
Ask for one after the game itself plays. Saving scores per person uses the database unlock, which is 100 credits on that project.
What if the first version is too simple?
That is the point of the first version. Play it, then ask for the next rule. You are charged for the work of that change, not for a second full game unless you start a new project.
Describe the game.
Say the goal and the controls. Play the preview before you add more.
