12:00Use cases

A website, from one sentence

Say who the site is for and what a visitor should do. Build3 builds the pages, shows you a preview, and publishes a link people can open. You do not start from a blank canvas, and you do not write the code.

A prompt to start from

A site for a tailor in Surulere. Outfits with prices, a short note about fittings, photos, and a button that opens WhatsApp.

  • No subscription
  • Credits do not expire
  • A link when you publish

12:00What you get

The site is the thing you judge

You stay in the conversation. The preview is how you tell if it is right.

  • Plain language

Name the business, the pages, and the action. A shop, a school, a church, a portfolio, a menu. If the first version misses something, ask for it in the same chat.

  • A preview while it builds

The chat shows what it is doing. The preview sits beside it once there is a page to look at. You decide from the page, not from a pile of files.

  • Changes by asking

“Make the menu easier to read on a phone” or “add a page for wedding outfits” is the edit. A short change costs less than building the site again.

  • A link you can send

Publish puts the site on a build3.site address. Send it on WhatsApp. Visitors see the published version, not the draft you are still changing.

  • Your own name, when you want it

Hosting on the build3.site link is included. A domain you already bought can point at the same site. That connection is a 50-credit unlock on the project.

  • Accounts when the site needs them

A brochure does not need a database. A site with logins, saved orders, or a private page does. Turning the database on is 100 credits, once, on that project.

12:00How it works

From a sentence to a link

You describe it, look at the preview, and publish when it is the one you want people to see.

  1. 01

    Describe the site

Who it is for, what is on it, and what the visitor should do next. Prices, a city, and a button are more useful than “make me a website.”

  2. 02

    Look at the preview

Read it the way a customer would. Then ask for the missing page, the wrong color, or the button that does not go anywhere.

  3. 03

    Publish the link

The public address stays on the last version you published. Update it when the new version is the one you want people to see.

12:00Prompts

Start from one of these

Copy the one that is close, change the names, and send it. The button opens a new account. It does not send the prompt for you.

  • Shop

“A one-page shop for a bakery in Ibadan. Cakes, prices, a photo of the display, opening hours, and a WhatsApp button.”

    Start building
  • Booking

“A booking page for a barber. Services, prices, a photo of the shop, and a form that asks for a name, a service, and a time.”

    Start building
  • School

“A school site with a home page, admissions, school fees, and a contact form. Calm, readable, and fine on a phone.”

    Start building
  • Portfolio

“A portfolio for a photographer. A grid of projects, a short bio, and a page to request a shoot.”

12:00Questions

Before you start

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You describe the site and judge the preview. The code is how the site is built, not what you edit.

How do I pay?

You buy credits and spend them as you build. Nothing renews each month, and unused credits stay on the account. A website prompt needs at least 10 credits on the account before it can start. A game prompt needs at least 15. After that, the charge follows the work, so a small change costs less than starting over.

Can people open it on a phone?

Yes. Ask for a site that reads well on a phone if that matters, then check the preview at a narrow width before you publish.

When does it go live?

Choose Publish in the project. Build3 gives the project a build3.site address you can send. People who open that link see the published version. Later edits stay in the editor until you update the live site.

Can I use my own domain?

The build3.site link is included. Connecting a domain you already own is a separate unlock of 50 credits on that project. Build3 does not sell domains. You add the records at the registrar, and the free link keeps working too.

Describe the site.

Add credits, send the sentence, and judge it from the preview.
