How to build a multiplayer game
Two or more people, one game, a winner. Build3 can start with people on one screen, or with a shared score after you unlock the database.
- No subscription
- Credits do not expire
- A link when you publish
12:00What you get
Start with one screen
Two people at one keyboard is a real multiplayer game. People on two phones, in the same match, is the later step.
Two controls
Say which keys belong to which player. On a phone, two sides of the screen can be the two players.
A win
First to five, or the last one standing. Show who won, then offer a rematch.
The same match on two phones
That needs accounts and a shared game. Open the Database tab and press Activate database. The price is on the pricing page. A later turn wires it.
Do not fake a live match
A score saved on this phone is not a match against a friend somewhere else. Say so, or turn the database on.
Play the local version first
Finish a match on one screen before you ask for rooms and invites.
A link
Publish to a build3.site address. Friends can open it. A shared room still needs the database.
12:00How it works
From a sentence to a link
You describe it, look at the preview, and publish when it is the one you want people to see.
01
Pick the two-player rule
What each person does, and who wins.
02
Play both sides
If one set of keys does nothing, fix that in the same turn.
03
Publish, then decide
Share the link for same-screen play. Ask for online play only after the database is on.
12:00Prompts
Start from one of these
Change the one that is close, then start building. The button opens a new account. It does not send the prompt for you.

12:00Questions
Before you start
Can friends play from two phones?
Yes, after you open the Database tab and press Activate database. The price is on the pricing page. Until then, two people play on one screen.
How do I pay for the build?
You buy credits and spend them as you build. Nothing renews each month, and unused credits stay on the account. Pack sizes and what a prompt costs are on the pricing page. A small change costs less than starting over.
Can I use my own domain?
The build3.site link is included. Connecting a domain you already own is a separate unlock on that project. The price is on the pricing page. Build3 does not sell domains. You add the records at the registrar, and the free link keeps working too.
