Build3 vs Rosebud
16 October 2026
Both can start a game from a description. Rosebud is a game maker. Build3 is a game maker and a website builder, and the same account publishes either one to a link.
Games
On Build3 you say how the game plays, then you play the preview. Keyboard and touch both belong on it. When a round feels fair, you publish.
Rosebud is aimed at games. If all you will ever make is a game, and you already like that tool, stay there. If you also want the site around the game, or a shop, or a booking page, Build3 is one place for both.
Websites and paying
A website on Build3 is the same kind of project as a game: a description, a preview, a published link. You do not open a second product for the site.
You pay with credits. They do not expire. There is no subscription. This article does not quote Rosebud’s prices. The build3.site link is included. Your own domain is a separate unlock, priced on the pricing page.
- Build3 makes games and websites
- You play the Build3 preview before you publish
- Paying on Build3: credits, no subscription
- Hosting on Build3: a build3.site link is included
- A shared leaderboard: the database unlock, priced on the pricing page
Which one to open
Open Rosebud when you want a dedicated game tool and you are happy there. Open Build3 when you want the game and the website in one product, paid for with credits, published to a link.
