FAQ
The short answers. The other pages have the steps.
Account and credits
Do I need to write code?
No. You describe the website or the game in the chat and check the preview. You do not edit files to publish.
Do credits expire?
No. Unused credits stay on the account. There is no monthly plan that resets them.
Is the first build free?
No. Add credits before the first prompt. Pack sizes are on the pricing page.
Can I use credits on more than one project?
Yes. The balance is on the account. Each project spends from it.
Building
Can I turn a website into a game?
No. Start a new project and choose Game. The website project stays a website.
The preview looks old.
Press Reload in the preview toolbar after the chat says the build finished. That control is above the preview. A browser refresh is a different button.
I asked a question and it changed the page.
Turn on Chat mode before a question that should not edit the project. Turn it off when you want the next message to build.
Going live
People still see the old version.
The public link updates when you publish, not when the preview changes. Publish again.
Can I use a domain I already own?
Yes. Publish first, then open the Domains tab, activate it if it is locked, and connect the domain. Build3 shows the DNS records. You do not move the project to another host.
Does Build3 take a cut of my sales?
No. A checkout on your site pays you. Build3 has a Paystack skill, and you can connect your own payments too. Credits you buy are separate. They pay for builds and unlocks.
Where do I see visits or plays?
In the Analytics tab, after you activate analytics. The numbers are for the published project. They are not a page inside the site.
